Posted by Jeff Id on January 26, 2010

Roger Pielke jr. has a post on the response of the IPCC to what is obviously intentionally false information on disaster costs from global warming.  Please take a few minutes of your day and read the response of this prestigious UN organization in context.:

  2. Great piece, thanks Jeff. And a great hitlerspoof too – even though I seldom like doing that comparison – but this one is funny.

Time for a vent. I get seriously annoyed at these unelected, unaccountable, money-grubbing, lying B******S at organisations such as the IPCC.

There, I feel better already; nothing like a good vent.

It appears the IPCC learned the wrong lesson from glaciergate; never admit an error. I don’t expect them to do so again no matter how damning the charges. Expect more spin and attempts to baffle with BS.

The more the people at the IPCC speak the bigger the lie. They should quit before they bury themselves. On second thoughts, IPCC please talk some more to bury yourselves ASAP. They have no credibility left so anything they say only makes their situation worse. In fact the only thing they can do to save face is to admit they were wrong and come clean.

I recommand IPCC for a 3 days the best Crisis Management seminar they can find. Apparently they don’t have a clue what to do in case of a calamity. And those people suppose to save the World??

Glaciergate…A very interesting example of the expertise of make-up artists. I was halfway through watching the utube clip before I recognized my good friend Kevin Rudd. He looks different with the mo. Kevin Stiller.
