I hope Santa leaves some Critical Thinking Candy in the stockings of our Warmer friends for them to use this coming year. 😉

Jeff, is it possible to contribute to the cost of this blog? It’s been a good year for fergusons and since I seem hard pressed to contribute to the intellectual content, maybe I could help with the rent.

While waiting for the Xmas turkey to finish its preparations, I would wish that everyone who hangs out here has a peaceful and satisfying holiday season and an even better New year. I hope that the coming times will mark a return to a sanity that has been absent for quite some time now. Hopefully our elected leaders will come to their (common) senses and start listening to what normal people have to say instead of selling out to the propagandists.
Jeff, you have done all of us here a great service by keeping this blog interesting and informational and I thank you for that and wish you and yours all the best.
So far, it’s been a great ride. May it continue to be so…

A post-Christmas present is from Pielke, Sr. who posted comments by Akasofu on “The Continuing Recovery from the Little Ice Age.”
He has an answer for your earlier question of what is the expected temperature 100 years from now: 0.5 C +/- 0.2 C.

Back ‘atcha. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas and a great New Year’s.
I look forward to many continuing developments and interesting discussions in 2011. Sheesh, seems like it was just recently that we were anticipating the ol’ Y2K thingy. I often think of that particular New Year because we had just experienced a lot of life changes, including moving to a new house. Where did the time go . . . ?
