Wei-Hock Soon is accused of failing to disclose funding from corporations in his research.  We don’t seem to know if the funding was for any of the research but to the left-wing climate radicals, that doesn’t really matter.

This isn’t about climate folks.   This never was.   It is about politics and enacting a totalitarian style socialist government with the same faux democracy you see in China and North Korea.  It is an openly visible government plot to gain ever more power.  Driven by bureaucrats personally incentivized by the massive money and power government offers.   It IS LED by liberal “progressive” Democrats and it is leading to a very bad place.   Unfortunately, no political party is immune from power and the two primary parties we get to pick from are just different rates of change in the same very bad direction.  Don’t believe me, then you need to learn your history better.   You have been duped.

We are losing our freedoms in America at a massive rate, the internet just took a huge and completely unnecessary blow today.  The unelected portion of the government gave itself the power to tax, regulate, limit and redistribute internet access.   How long until we find preferred content getting favorable treatment.  No Jeff, that would be illegal!  If you think like that, you are again wrong… ever hear of the IRS. Are you really naive enough to believe that tax laws aren’t used as a political weapon? —I doubt it. Americans have no clue how much of their own medical freedoms they have just lost either, and it will be decades before they really figure it out.  The massive tax increases which were finally enacted last year are already having a huge impact on businesses and employment.  I have personal experience with that particular impact.  Not that people care about business when the government adjusts the government employment performance numbers to hide their failure.

So illegal aliens being converted to automatic citizens while leaving the border open.   Does anyone really believe that is for anything except automatic votes?  Free social security, medicaid and health care for them.   How about the new push to have 16 and 17 year olds vote?  That shouldn’t tweak the numbers in the liberals favor should it?   It is about power and votes and guaranteed continuation of both…. nothing else.  Hmmm.. I recall hearing about that same sort of voting system in some other country?..

I’ve been personally attacked in two left-wing psychology papers in journals because liberals don’t like that I speak out against the lies of climate science, and they obviously fear me (and you).  There is no other reason to call out my name and imply some sort of delusional personality disorder to me.   It is these same selfish, self-serving progressives who are doing it for the money.  NO business organization would pay multiple millions of dollars for poor class of work created by Michael Mann or Lewandowsky.  In the GOVERNMENT funded world, their mathmagical masturbation can be held up as the best in class, published in the compliant left-wing media and distributed as fact to increase law and regulations by government organizations. To government employees, that sort of nonsense actually has a real value!

Literally hundreds of billions of dollars in government money is funneled to left-wing extremists posing as scientists.   The money doesn’t change their minds, the “scientists” were already that biased, many were already willing to lie or exaggerate for the “cause”.   These are the people who get preferentially paid over their now nearly extinct colleagues who won’t repeat the complete bovine scatology that climate models are somehow working.   Or somehow models haven’t badly overstated the climate sensitivity to CO2 (as several fake papers have tried to claim), or the ridiculous claims of more extreme weather which has been recorded EXACTLY NOWHERE ON THE PLANET.

Theses are false unscientific lies published in droves by the IPCC, the EPA, the LIBERAL PROGRESSIVE DEMOCRAT PARTY etc….. The liberals are the ones saddling us with these massive losses of freedom across the board.  They are the ones twisting every law for purposes of guaranteed election wins.   They are the ones attempting to prevent funding of any group which doesn’t promote increased government control of every aspect of our lives.  They are the ones poisoning our population with unhireable moronic dependents who drop out of highschool and will never do anything except collect government checks and stay home — until its time to vote democratic.  Seriously, have you ever hired an employee that can’t read?   I’ve tried.  He made it a few weeks too.

EPA,FCC,IRS,ATF,IPCC,WHO,etc… on and on and on.. Hundreds of billions of tax dollars, stolen from industry and handed over to corrupt liberals.  That is who is doing this, and NO that doesn’t make the conservatives clean, but it does make them better than the other guy.

How may of those corrupt, fraudulent, left-wing extremist scientists disclosed their obvious conflicts of interest in receiving government money when publishing their fake work?  How many disclosed their side business money, because it seems pretty clear from basic research that near half receive side money for speaking on climate, conferences, personal green business ventures, etc…   Not nearly as many as should disclose, that’s for sure.

The government money is creating and empowering the fraud — INTENTIONALLY!  This is not an accident. The purpose of the climate science exaggerations from the government perspective, is reduced freedom and increased government power.   That is the value of the exaggerations on climate, and that is what we are being taxed for. There is nothing else in climate science that you really need to know.

So YES I’m pissed off about the Soon thing or investigations of Pielke, Spencer or Curry.  It is a blatant left-wing political attempt to prevent them from receiving any funding at all by marginalizing companies who would contribute. To put fear in the hearts of their employers and chill any dissent to their pro-regulation plans.  And in the case of Peilke Sr., stunts like this have worked and he is not publishing anything in climate anymore.

We are in big, big trouble as a country, as the damage the progressive liberals are doing in centralizing all control is nearly irreversible barring a major civil war.   I fear for our children and grandchildren.  My international readers shouldn’t take it as some kind of American hubris when I point out that the loss of American freedom is a very bad thing for the rest of the world.

It is an ugly place when universally left-wing government officials with no personal skin in the game make decisions about every aspect of our lives.  We will see soon enough and hopefully we will still be smart enough to figure out what happened.   I would write that if you are voting for these people it’s time to wake up but really it is already way too late for that.   We are already on that rollercoaster and the car has left the gate.

  1. > … The unelected portion of the government gave itself the power to tax, regulate, limit and redistribute internet access

That statement confuses me. Do you mean control over and above kiddie porn, advocacy of violent rebellion, making dirty bombs in your kitchen etc ? (ie. the obvious stuff)

Please explain what you mean, Jeff

      1. Sorry Jeff, that’s not what I meant

How* has “the unelected portion of the government …” etc ? That is, what is the actual manifestation of this, please ?

        1. No, that’s self-evident

WHAT specific law now exists (however achieved) that allows bureaucrats the power to tax, regulate, limit and redistribute internet access without recourse to legislation ?

          1. Lots of them actually. About 80% (my own opinion) of obamacare was relegated to unelected buearocrats and they are the ones who set many of the cost aspects of obamacare. The EPA sets “fees” all the time and the FCC just took over a huge chunk of the internet lumping it in with ancient laws that already allowed the FCC to tax. So without representation, the FCC is now able to tax Americans on the internet.

          2. > … the FCC just took over a huge chunk of the internet lumping it in with ancient laws that already allowed the FCC to tax …

Yes, that piece of news has not made it to the MSM in countries other than the US. I’ve had it confirmed elsewhere

It seems both Facebook and Google are enthusiastically generating ways to help the FCC control internet content – truth by consensus, it appears

          3. I’m glad you found references. I am a little confused as to why you didn’t understand my initial remarks. Your comment about the MSM in other countries is particularly interesting and it helps explain. Overseas, all of the negative for the liberal party of the US is covered. I mean literally ALL. In my early travels, it was really shocking to me how hard-left the rest of the world news is.

  2. Yes, Jeff, the world is indeed ugly today . Bob Livingston explained why Justice Cannot Sleep Forever.”

    https://personalliberty.com/justice-sleep-forever/

The story begins with a beautiful depiction of:

    1. Genesis: The supernova birth of the solar system five billion years (5 Ga) ago, when the Sun exploded as a ball of light, and

    2. Element Synthesis: Guided by a conscious and intelligent Mind that “brings the particles of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together.”

The quote is from Nobel Laureate Max Planck’s 1944 speech on the nature of matter:

“There is no matter as such! All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particles of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together … We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent Mind. This Mind is the matrix of all matter.”

  3. Kind of interesting that the day after I complain about the IRS, Lois Learners emails show up and it turns out the IRS never made any effort whatsoever to find them. Hmmm, I wonder if anyone gets in any trouble for that.

  4. Jeff you said: “…We are losing our freedoms in America at a massive rate…”

Here is a big loss of freedom that no one really is aware of. I am not a decent writer (I think spider web not linearly.) Perhaps you can look at the data I have collected and write an article that gets posted here and maybe at WUWT.

    ………….

Up for public comment is a large hunk of Agenda 21. If there is no citizen outrage then the ‘recommendations’ become incorporated into the regulations turned out by the FDA, USDA and Obamacare. At that point the US government will have license to investigate what you buy, what you eat and if you exercise. Investigating your purchases also allows medical professionals to evaluate what you READ and identify either ‘homegrown terrorists’ or mental disorders. This would include conspiracy therorists (That is us folks), those who fear the government, anyone who does not think as the government wishes (Oppositional Defiance Disorder )… All these are now considered symptoms of mental disorders thanks to a new international diagnostic manual released. in 2012.

    https://stevengoddard.wordpress.com/2015/02/24/barack-obama-goes-full-stalin/#comment-495447

The Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee (DGAC) came up with the recommendation that America Should Adopt a ‘Plant-Based’ Diet. It recommends:

    1. taxes on dessert

    2. trained obesity “interventionists” at schools and worksites,

    3. electronic monitoring of how long Americans sit in front of the television or computer

    4. Data mining of credit card information by the medical profession so they can “intervene” is already happening.

    AGENDA 21 (Sustainability tie-in)
    http://weaselzippers.us/179187-meet-the-radicals-creating-the-new-federal-dietary-guidelines/

“After 30 years of waiting, the fact that this committee is addressing sustainability issues brings me a lot of pleasure,” she began. Clancy went on to advocate that Americans should become vegetarians in order to achieve sustainability in the face of “climate change.”…

“What pattern of eating best contributes to food security and the sustainability of land air and water?” Clancy asked. “The simple answer is a plant-based diet.”…

Clancy said plant-based diets lower the risk of cardiovascular disease and have a “smaller ecological impact” on “drought, climate change, soil erosion, pesticides and antibiotics in water supplies.”….
Clancy said beef production is the “greatest concern.”

Meat production is harmful to the environment because of manure runoff and “methane production by cattle,” she said, which has “a much stronger effect on climate change than carbon dioxide does per unit of methane.”…..

    1. One more stupid thing about it is that there are plenty of hunting rounds that are large enough such that kevlar armor doesn’t care what kind of ‘tip’ you apply to the bullet.

  5. The worst federal power grab of all relates to K-12 education. In the past this was something pushed by left wing academics but today we have presidential candidates such as Jeb Bush adding support.

State control of education makes perfect sense where the citizen serves the state as in Nazi Germany or Stalin’s USSR. It makes no sense at all where the state is supposed to serve citizens as suggested by Abraham Lincoln in his Gettysburg address:
“government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.”

When it comes to K-12 education there is a highly successful model for running schools that does not depend on the federal government. Students graduating from private schools outperform those from government K-12 schools. Private schools are mostly overseen by people in the local community rather than by professionals at county, state or federal levels.

How do private schools suffer owing to the lack of support from a county, state or federal bureaucracy? Instead of suffering, they flourish because principals, teachers and student are empowered. Every power grabbed by county, state or federal officials disempowers everyone else while creating a burden of unecessary paperwork that impairs the effectiveness of teachers.

    1. The other big difference between the failed public education system and the private system is equity: Families have to commit with their own money in the private system. They have skin in the game. There is accountability: Most private schools will toss out badly behaved children and most private schools also have enforceable discipline rules that hold the children responsible for their actions. The failed public models cannot hold children or families accountable in meaningful ways. Families of students do not have a personal financial stake in the success of their child. Public schools operate largely as employment centers for left leaning people and education can happen if things work out.

  6. I wonder when “Racehorse”. Brer Rabbit, and the rest will be out to defend this ridiculous authoritarian action by fascists.

  7. Despite all the bad news, it is now time to rejoice!”

This one page sequel to Climategate msrks the end to seventy years (1945 – 2015) of totalitarian global science – intended to isolate mankind from the Creator, Destroyer and Sustainer of each atom, life and world in the solar system and the constantly changing climates of each of its planets.

  8. Jeff-
It ends not with a bang, but many, many whimpers. I see no fight nor feisty rebellion coming.

What makes politics in the US a dangerous hope today – and ongoingly for the past decade, if you’ve followed blogger-psychiatrist “drsanity” – now inactive – is the sheer breath-taking lying and dishonesty of the media. No Republic established on enlightenment values can withstand the corruption of knowledge and morality that results from this.

And yet this is all we have. Without honesty, there is no accountability. Without measuring Truth and Lies, there can be no real change – except for random luck. And without all of the foregoing, debate matters not at all.

Therefore, politics is inconsequential. And I’m retiring to my classics and my Epicurean redoubt.

-Orson (Obama dolende est – despite being more symptom than cause)

    1. Orson –

Honest science is an asset because truth rules the universe.

False science is used by powerless dictators trying to rule by deceit!

That is perhaps the basis of an ancient scripture in the Upanishads:
      Truth is victorious, never untruth.”

    2. “It ends not with a bang, but many, many whimpers. I see no fight nor feisty rebellion coming.”

I totally agree with this. There is no fight coming soon. I’m more thinking along the lines of centuries or perhaps never after totalitarian control sets the rest of its hooks. It is quite a bleak outlook but it seems impossible to avoid. People think I’m too hard on liberals, after all they are good people too right? It isn’t about being good people, it is about being rational with something as important as freedom. It is completely irrational to voluntarily give more of it away. It is equally irrational not to recognize the problems over-powerful government is creating at this point. The leftists in the republican party are not significantly better though.
