Lewandowsky Strike 4?? Really….

Posted by Jeff Id on April 17, 2015

So a Stephan Lewandowsky interview deserves publication here.  H/T Barry Woods.

Turn your mental filter on, this will cause brain damage.

What a complete loser.  He should be pushing a shopping cart collecting cans.

Lewandoski seems to think that all y’all who pointed out the lies and errors in his work are wrong, lying, hallucinating, just attacking him for his position… Sounds like conspiratorial thinking to me…

This is part of the Queensland (everybody from Skeptical Science) online course starting on the 28th April

Making Sense of Climate Science Denial
Climate change is real, so why the controversy and debate? Learn to make sense of the science and to respond to climate change denial.

    About this course
In public discussions, climate change is a highly controversial topic. However, in the scientific community, there is little controversy with 97% of climate scientists concluding humans are causing global warming.
•Why the gap between the public and scientists?
•What are the psychological and social drivers of the rejection of the scientific consensus?
•How has climate denial influenced public perceptions and attitudes towards climate change?

This course examines the science of climate science denial.

We will look at the most common climate myths from “global warming stopped in 1998” to “global warming is caused by the sun” to “climate impacts are nothing to worry about.”

We’ll find out what lessons are to be learnt from past climate change as well as better understand how climate models predict future climate impacts. You’ll learn both the science of climate change and the techniques used to distort the science.

With every myth we debunk, you’ll learn the critical thinking needed to identify the fallacies associated with the myth. Finally, armed with all this knowledge, you’ll learn the psychology of misinformation. This will equip you to effectively respond to climate misinformation and debunk myths.

This isn’t just a climate MOOC; it’s a MOOC about how people think about climate change.

Also, ust for fun, we have Dana Nuccitelli utterly lying about the 97% consensus paper as well (he has to be heard,)

and more Lew: (which is worse, than the first)
Stephan Lewandowsky – The Rejection Of Climate Science And Motivated Reasoning

More of the videos to be included here: (includes, Cook, MAnn, Oreskes, Hayhoe, Alley)

these videos are being used to teach the public about ‘denial’, so why not sign up and comment so the public get a chance to hear the other side?!

The most compelling reason that I would not sign up for such a course is that they require your real identity. I would be afraid of one of these crazies turning up at my doorstep with a chainsaw, or launching a campaign to get me fired.

        More Lewandowsky here 😉

They count on your reaction. I published consistently under Jeff Id, until I was outed by the UK press during climategate. They made a whole story simply for identifying me.

That was just after being contacted by the British secret service.

Is it just me or has Climate ‘Science’ become a humanities course like African Literature?

Maybe instead they should study Macbeth:

    it is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
    Signifying nothing.

I watched about a minute and a half and then said why should I waste 8+ minutes listening to this drivel?

I’m just going to assume it’s drivel & save my time & reduce my risk of a stroke by watching it! My taxes are helping to pay for this Bozo! We’ve had enough detritus sent to us from Australia, what with the Green Party’s Natalie Bennett. Must be the Aussies way of paying us back for starting the place as a penal colony.

Confidence and eloquence goes a long way to convince people regardless of the content of the speech. Hmm…. reminds me of somebody.
