Citizen free press is one of the worlds largest news sites. I left a tip with a screenshot of the money paragraph and a link to the contract signed by Obama’s organization in conjunction with the head of NARA (National Archives and Records Administration.

Obama had everything from his presidency in private storage completely under his own control. For years after he left office. It is very important that people recognize just how crooked the search of Trump’s home was.

Incorrect. NARA assumed physical custody in 2017. Hoffman Estates is also a NARA-controlled facility.
The National Archives said it “assumed exclusive legal and physical custody of Obama presidential records when President Barack Obama left office in 2017.”

The agency said about 30 million pages of unclassified records went to a National Archives facility in the Chicago area. Classified Obama presidential records are in a facility in the Washington, D.C., area.

The records agency’s statement is not a surprise, because the arrangement to preserve Obama’s records has been publicly known since 2016.

The Chicago Tribune reported in spring 2016 that the paperwork, electronic data and artifacts from Obama’s presidency would temporarily go to the old Plunkett Home Furnishings store on Golf Road in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The Tribune wrote that the National Archives would bring in as many as 120 employees to sort through the material.

Hoffman Estates is a NARA-controlled facility as described by NARA:

All that the screen grab states is that Obama Foundation will finance the transfer from one NARA-controlled facility (Hoffman estates) to others.

The facility was an abandoned furniture store very close to Obama’s home. It had none of the protections required for classified documents as their own documents state.

Obama foundation was additionally given control over bidding to sort, declassify and distribute the documents back to the government although it is not clear if that was ever implemented. Digitization was intended to be done by August 2021, there is no record of that happening.

The level of deference given to an Obama foundation with classified materials that certainly contained nuclear and military secrets is unprecedented. They also managed to put a hold on any FOIA requests until the ‘non-digitization’ was complete.

      Complete scam.

Classified documents were stored in a Washington DC facility. Unclassified documents in Hoffman estates. Your screengrab doesn’t state that classified documents were in Hoffman estates, although it could have been more clearly written as such. Your comment about it being close to Obama’s home is not relevant since NARA had control over it.

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) assumed exclusive legal and physical custody of Obama Presidential records when President Barack Obama left office in 2017, in accordance with the Presidential Records Act (PRA). NARA moved approximately 30 million pages of unclassified records to a NARA facility in the Chicago area where they are maintained exclusively by NARA. Additionally, NARA maintains the classified Obama Presidential records in a NARA facility in the Washington, DC, area. As required by the PRA, former President Obama has no control over where and how NARA stores the Presidential records of his Administration.
